Yes I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot on Nikon professional bodies. On a wedding day I shoot using two camera bodies, a range of lenses and a flashes as well as some other gadgets and gizmos. I always carry back up equipment such as back up bodies, lenses and memory cards. I like to carry both bodies with me so that I can capture different shots without having to mess around changing lenses.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
My packages include travel within 30 miles of radius of Leyland. I do cover weddings outside the 30 mile radius but travelling and accomodation expenses may be added to the package price depending on distance. If you getting married outside of my normal areas and would like a quotation the get in touch to discuss further.
DO YOU WORK ALONE?
Yes at present my packages are for me alone. If you require more than one photographer then get in touch as it is something which I can arrange if required.
HOW DO YOU SHOOT AND EDIT THE IMAGES?
I shoot using RAW format files, when shooting in a format like JPEG image information is compressed and lost. Because no information is compressed with RAW files I am able to produce high quality images. After the wedding date I go through all the images and choose the keepers. The final selection of images you receive are all edited to my high standard, which includes cropping, exposure, sharpening and colour correcting. I also apply my own creative edit to your shots.
DO YOU OFFER BESPOKE PACKAGES?
Yes! I can offer shorter cover, longer coverage or multi day, all subject to availability.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE WE BOOK?
Yes I love to have consultations with my clients. I want you to be comfortable with me after all I will be playing a big part of your day, I will follow you around all day so. for me it is important that you are comfortable with my personality and style. I’m available for weekday, evening and the occasional weekend appointments. If you can’t meet then I’m happy to email, facetime call, or just the old fashioned way of the telephone!
DO YOU INCLUDE A PRE-WEDDING SESSION?
You can add an pre wedding shoot onto the packages or even try me out and book one completely separately.
WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?
Once you’ve decided you’d like me for your wedding there’s an booking form and contract to read and sign, a non refundable 10% deposit is required to secure your date.
WHEN IS THE FINAL BALANCE PAYABLE?
The final balance will be due 6 weeks before your wedding day.
WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU?
Only something very serious would keep me away from your wedding but I can use my network of wedding photographers to help you find a replacement if required.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
I don’t limit the number of images you receive. As a minimum I would expect to send in excess of 400 images but this will depend on your package and how the day unfolds.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
Within 6 – 8 weeks of your wedding your images will be ready to view on your private online gallery.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTED ALBUMS?
A printed album is not currently included in the package prices but I can arrange for albums to be provided at an additional cost upon request.

Terms and Conditions
A booking fee of 10% will be required in order to secure the wedding date. Dates are reserved once the booking fee is paid.
The remainder of the balance outstanding is due for payment 6 weeks before the wedding date shown above.
It is mutually agreed that the following terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless confirmed in writing by Claire Christopher Photography.
In the event of cancellation by the client Claire Christopher Photography reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the following scale:
10% (booking fee) if cancelled more than 12 months prior to the wedding date.
25% of the total price if cancelled with less than 6 months’ notice.
100% of the total price if cancelled within 7 days of the wedding date.
In the event of Claire Christopher Photography having to cancel the photography of the event either due to illness, accident or act of god, any fees paid, including the deposit will be returned to the client. In this event Claire Christopher Photography will do her upmost to provide an alternative photographer to contact.
Claire Christopher Photography cannot be held responsible for lack of photographic coverage caused by either, the bride or groom, delays, wedding party members, restrictions placed on the photographer by officials of the church, registrar office or licenced marriage venues.
The client agrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiations with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the client’s responsibility, Claire Christopher Photography will offer assistance when possible.
The number of photographs is also impacted by weather conditions and the willingness of subjects.
Claire Christopher Photography shall be granted artistic licence in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. The Photographers judgement regarding the location, poses and number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct.
Photographs taken during the course of a booking will be at the discretion of Claire Christopher Photography, best endeavours will be made to comply with Clients requirements. Claire Christopher Photography shall endeavour to photograph all subject matter as requested by The Clients during the booking, but no responsibility will be taken should the subject matter not be available or willing at the time of the event, or due to other factors such as available time and/or location of the subject matter.
Photographers movements are sometimes restricted due to, for example but not necessarily limited to, infrastructure, highways, weather, private property, obstacles (fixed and mobile), security, local law enforcement, emergency services and instructions from The Couple. The area from which The Photographers are able to cover during the event may not be the Photographers choice, Claire Christopher Photography cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case. Claire Christopher Photography shall endeavour to capture all the moments throughout the day as they occur, however, because of the dynamic nature of events, some moments might not be recorded.
Colour matching and Sizes
The final post production and editing styles, effects and overall look of the images will be left to the discretion of Claire Christopher Photography. When processing images, Claire Christopher Photography will endeavour to interpret clients wishes and achieve a pleasing overall colour balance based on natural flesh tones, some colours may not be consistent owing to variations in lighting conditions.
It is also understood that all photographic printing is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and that colour may not be identical over the whole range within a subject. The colour balancing of prints made at different times or varying sizes may also be variable. Due to computer monitor limitations it is understood that images may appear differently according to the specification of each monitor and that prints will not match images rendered on any particular computer monitor.
The client will be provided with high quality JPEG’s, one set of which should be used to print and another set which should be used when viewing on monitors or TV screens. The package is for a digital package only, no paper albums or printing will be provided.
Claire Christopher Photography will take all necessary precautions to prevent loss of digital files. Back up digital files and back up equipment will be taken but in the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the Claire Christopher Photography’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, Claire Christopher Photography’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a prorated to the amount of exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of originals. Claire Christopher Photography is not liable for the loss of images beyond the lesser of the final delivery of all products included in the package after one year.
The copyright in all photographs shall remain Claire Christopher Photography. The Client will be granted printing and sharing rights.
Print Licence’ or ‘Licence of Use‘.
Claire Christopher Photography grants to the client a printing licence which allows the client to crop images and to print for personal use, to print for the purposes of album design and to share with their friends and relatives. Claire Christopher Photography grants the Client permission to share the images on social networking websites, with family and friends, and on vendor websites as long as the images remain unaltered and textual credit is explicitly given to Claire Christopher Photography.
Watermarked JPEG’s sharpened for screens will be provided for social media use.
Images used for other purposes need to be agreed by Claire Christopher Photography in writing. The Client must obtain written permission from Claire Christopher Photography prior to publishing or selling the photographs.
Claire Christopher Photography has the unrestricted permission to use photographs taken of you or others, or of your children (under the age of 18) and to re-use and re-publish the same in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other photos and in conjunction with any printed/digital matter, in any all print media, digital media or any other media now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever for illustrations, promotion, art, editorial, advertising and trade, or any other purpose whatsoever without as to alteration, and to use my name in connection therewith in Claire Christopher Photography so chooses.
The Client releases all claim to profits that may arise from use of images.
The determination of images delivered to the Client is left to the discretion of Claire Christopher Photography but there will be no limit on number of photographs which the client will receive.
Photographs will be made available 6 weeks from the wedding date. This maybe longer during peak periods but Claire Christopher will inform the client if there is to be a delay on this date.
Please address any complaints to Claire Christopher Photography either by E-mail or letter. Should you wish to involve a to arbitrate in any form, please advise with an agreement to assigned parties to be made in writing between all parties. In any instance, we reserve the right to advise our insurers legal department of any formal complaint made against Claire Christopher Photography, of which should the complaint outcome to be found in favour of Claire Christopher Photography then any fees, expenses or recordable losses resulting from the complaint, (such as insurance excess payments), will be considered as liable to be paid by Client and reimbursed by the Client to Claire Christopher Photography in full within 14 days of the finding.
